Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort in southern Thailand opened 7 February, with first guests arriving from Thailand, Germany and Scandinavia. To mark the opening, Outrigger has announced a special value-added opening rate for guests.
Effective immediately, the new Outrigger 158-key property on Bang Sak beach front is offering rates from THB 4,100 (US$125) per night for a spacious and elegant Deluxe Garden Terrace Room for travel until 18 April 2022.
The resort, acquired by Outrigger last year, has been refurbished with new design elements emphasizing a seamless connection between sea, sand and the green landscape.
Outrigger canoe motifs and local southern Thai artifacts such as textured prints and relaxed earth tone colours, promote a sense of tranquility for guests seeking unity with nature.
The property is absolute beachfront with all rooms, suites and villas featuring a balcony or terrace. From the restyled lobby via the lush tropical garden to the beachside Edgewater chill out restaurant, the whole resort has been reimagined to help guests relax in comfort and style.
Tony Pedroni, Outrigger’s Area General Manager for Thailand said that the guests can unwind in their swimming pool or jacuzzi while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. The Edgewater beachfront restaurant and bar is proving very popular with a great menu and chillout atmosphere.
The Edgewater bar & grill features a pool, lounge chairs, sofas, daybeds, and tropical swing chairs. It has been designed as a focal meeting and relaxing space for guests.
Apart from its resort in Khao Lak, Outrigger opened the Outrigger Surin Beach Resort in Phuket in late December. The Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort is scheduled to open by July 2022.
